Toto Tips That Can Change Your Life

TOTO Toilets Help Consumers Navigate the New Normal

The COVID-19 pandemic in the world brought an unpredictability to people's lives. TOTO utilizes its technology to help people in navigating this New Normal.

Toto's philosophy is based on the principle of Kaisen which translates to "perfection". Their most recent toilet, the WELLNESSTOILET, is equipped with cutting-edge sensing technology to aid in customer well-being.

Water Sense Technology

WaterSense-labeled fixtures for plumbing are EPA-approved and help save water and energy while providing the most reliable, safe and secure performance. TOTO USA is one of the first companies in the world to be awarded the WaterSense Label for its EcoPower flush valves, as well as commercial flushometers.

Our Aquia IV Dual-flush Toilet is a great example for an efficient bathroom fixture. It consumes only 1.28 gallons of water for each flush. This is less than 1.6 Gallons needed to be in compliance with EPA standards. The Aquia IV features TOTO TORNADO FLUSH technology, which decreases the frequency of bowl cleaning and the requirement for additional flushes.

Installing a showerhead with a low flow will cut down on the amount of water you use while washing or bathing. Our high-efficiency Showerheads are WaterSense Rated and feature the latest technologies to ensure superior performance.

Limiting water usage is essential in a world of frequent water shortages. TOTO's EcoPower Technology, which is found in the Aquia IV and NEXUS toilets, helps to reduce water usage by using only 1.28 gallons of water per flush.

TOTO's elongated toilets are EPA approved for high efficiency. They feature the option of a round or elongated bowl and an ADA-compliant height of 17-19 inches. We also have an elongated toilet with a compact design that is ideal for small spaces and uses just 0.9 gallons per flush.

TOTO's bidets are among the most popular in the industry for both home and commercial use. They're not only a cost-effective alternative to toilet paper but they're also more efficient, since they offer a complete body cleanse that leaves you feeling refreshed and confident. The NEXUS bidet is equipped with our EWATER+ technology, which is made by electrolyzing ordinary tap water to make an ionic solution of sodium chloride ions as well as hypochlorous acid. This creates a powerful disinfectant which kills bacteria, virus and other pathogens while leaving your skin, as well as the environment, unharmed.

ADA Compliant

You might see the terms "ADA compliant" and "universal height" However, not all toilets with universal height are ADA compliant.

The ADA standards established by the Americans with Disabilities Act are designed to accommodate people of all ages and abilities that include those with mobility issues or lower body strength. Toto incorporates these standards into its products to ensure that customers have the bathroom experience of their choice with ease of use.

TOTO's ADA-compliant toilets feature a one-piece construction that instantly enhances the look of any bathroom and provides a functional advantage over traditional two-piece designs. TOTO's one piece designs make cleaning easier by eliminating the gap between bowl and tank. TOTO's Eco UltraMax toilets also feature high-efficiency, water-saving flushing system. These toilets are water-efficient and consume 1.28 gallons per flush (GPF) or less.

One-Piece or Two-Piece Design

Many who have traveled to Japan have praised the comfort and effectiveness of the Toto toilets they used. Toto toilets are Japanese brands that feature a one-piece design integrating the tank and bowl. They can be easily cleaned and fit in small spaces. They are also sturdy and last for a long time.

The museum also highlights TOTO's history of innovations, from the first flush to the aeration system that reduces waste by up to 90% and uses less water than traditional toilets.
